pedestrians are in the U.S., a rather rare phenomenon. You do not go, you go. This can even go so far that pedestrians (obviously foreigners) are under scrutiny, especially in residential areas.
But because there was simply dazzling weather here, I wanted to go to my appointment on foot. Not the best idea as it turned out. Because even on the main road, which I had over, there was no pedestrian traffic lights. And along the street and no sidewalk. Was therefore only spirited race on the road and a short hike on the hard shoulder. Typical America
